For nearly a decade, Enterprise Improvement Solutions Australia Pty Ltd (EnterpriseIS) has been providing a suite of improvement services to clients in manufacturing, mining, utilities, public sector, and other industries. With continuous improvement at the heart of the company’s existence, EnterpriseIS knew that its spreadsheet-based approach to client management was sub-optimal. “Prior to implementing Insightly, client information was spread across spreadsheets and email inboxes,” said Dan Henricson, Operations Manager at EnterpriseIS. “We knew we could do better, which is why we needed a CRM.”

Easy customization without the added expense of consultants

The EnterpriseIS team began researching CRM vendors and signed up for a few trials. After a period of testing and evaluation, the team decided to go with Insightly.

“Insightly was the right fit for several reasons,” Henricson said. “For starters, we were impressed by the personalized support that we received. We also liked how the system could  be easily customized without relying on a third party.” Insightly’s QuickBooks integration was another contributing factor. “QuickBooks is very important to our business, which made Insightly particularly attractive.”

To keep everyone on the same page, EnterpriseIS relies on Insightly opportunities, projects, tasks, and workflow automation features. In addition, as new clients are identified, EnterpriseIS uses opportunity records for tracking potential deals.

When a prospect turns into a client, the originating opportunity is converted into a project, preserving a 360-degree view of each relationship.

Integrations on the future horizon

Moving forward, EnterpriseIS plans to further capitalize on its utilization of Insightly. “We’re in the process of wrapping up our QuickBooks integration, and we’re working on how to best use Insightly dashboards.”
