New Web UI Enhances Sales, Project Management Productivity

SAN FRANCISCO—February 27, 2018 – Insightly, the business freemium customer relationship management (CRM) market leader, today unveiled its new web user interface (UI). Small business customers will benefit from three important updates: a modified interface based on other popular applications to encourage intuitive, immediate productivity; a cleaner, simpler design that prioritizes the most‐used features and a 65 percent increase in speed relative to the previous design.

According to an independent survey from TechValidate, 80 percent of surveyed customers use Insightly two to three times per week, and 43 percent use it every day to manage contacts and day‐to‐day action items through the cloud‐based application. Used by hundreds of thousands of customers, Insightly is integral to small businesses from more than 110 countries. The new design enables better language support for international customers, and Insightly will soon roll out a localized Spanish version, followed by other languages. Insightly’s powerful integrations with Google Apps and Gmail led to its ranking as the No. 1 CRM app on the Google Apps Marketplace. Insightly customers experience a quick payback. TechValidate reports 66 percent of customers see a payback in less than three months, and 39 percent see a payback in less than one month. The new UI is designed to help customers accelerate that payback even further with benefits, including:

  • Simpler interface: Insightly’s new design is anchored in the familiarity of the previous one, but it’s now easier to understand for users and allows them to focus on their business tasks.
  • Improved contact management: Insightly features larger profile pictures for easier identification, enhanced automatic discovery of social profiles for contacts and organizations, and improved in‐page LinkedIn and Twitter integration.
  • Easier linking: The new design makes it easier for users to link items together, another popular feature, and testing shows the number of links users create has gone up with the new layout.
  • Faster speeds: Users will benefit from faster page load times and faster navigation between items, and speeds will improve even more as Insightly builds a planned custom data center with faster servers and internet connections.
