Easily test Integration Recipes AppConnect Recipes can be easily tested through the interface. So you can feed data into the recipe and see how it functions. If it does not do exactly what you want, you can change the process right there in the interface with drag and drop and a few clicks. You can build out test recipes to test and experiment and visually map out how a process can be built. It doesn’t have the same level of overhead or weight as a Lambda function.
Full and Complete Audit Log AppConnect Recipes have a full audit log with a forensic level of detail. You can see for every run of every recipe and what data went in, how it was processed, and what data was sent out. This is important for two reasons – so you have full accountability into a recipe, how many times it was run, the inputs and outputs. It makes debugging very easy if you think there is an issue, and it also makes you have integrity and confidence in your data and your processes. You can check and verify easily.

Recipes in AppConnect can mould and shape the data inside the recipe and prepare it in exactly the right format before sending it out to another system. It can even do mathematical functions like add a series of numbers up and create a subtotal, do tax calculations on an order, or add a delivery fee for specific items
Recipes in AppConnect can be saved to different folders, so within your organization you might have folders for different departments, like Accounting and Finance, Sales, HR etc. Then different people from those departments can work together on recipes applicable to their specific processes.
